Dearest 8th grade Student Science Fair Participants.
Things to keep in mind:
1. the dates of the event- project there on Monday December 5 between 3:00 and 6:00pm
2. You need to be there on Wed December 7 from - 9am - noon.
3. Paper work- Have a folder with all paper work in it. Your liability release, your rough data, your research paper and references cited with 5 "books" listed as well as other items you used. ** If you want you can list them separately. Your research plan- copy all items from board, your abstract..(anything else?)
Make sure that the folder is organized and if you want you can use a binder with dividers. That will help make things super clear.
**if you do not have 5 books listed- do not bother going.
4. Check the website listed and make sure that your abstract has everything exactly the way the county/state wants it.
5. Make sure that all graphs and photos are labeled stating who took the photos and who took the graphs. You can have a note stating " All photos taken by :____________________" All graphs created by:__________________________ ** If a parent took a photo of you working- have them as the photographer.
I think this is it... questions?
